At present,metal processing and manufacturing are inseparable from cutting,metal cutting method are various,laser cutting seems to be one of the most suitable.Laser cutting could be divided into many kinds,the most mainstream is fiber laser cutting,CO2 laser cutting and YAG laser cutting.They have their own advantages and disvantages.
1.Fiber laser cutting machine
Advantages:Low energy consumption,high photoelectric conversion rate,is currently the fastest equipment of stainless steel materials cutting,laser beam stability and spot density,suitable for small and precision parts cutting.
Disvantages:The core technology of laser is in the hands of few manufacturer, leading to high price of laser source.The cutting gap is small and the stream consumption is large.Fiber laser cutting have difficulties in cutting material with high reflective rates,such as aluminum and copper.
2.CO2 laser cutting machine
Advantages:High power, general power close to the middle class, full specification stainless steel sheet, carbon steel and other basic raw materials with 4mm thickness can be cut, as well as aluminum and leather board, wood board, PVC board and so on.The cutting speed is very fast in the case of cutting thin plates. In addition, due to the continuous laser emitted by the CO2 laser generator, it has a good cutting cross section effect in the three kinds of laser cutting machines.
Disadvantages:The core technology of co2 laser generator handled by few company,the co2 laser source is expensive.In addition,the specific applications,the operating cost is high,gas consumption is huge and the consumables are also very expensive.
3.YAG laser cutting machine
Advantage: Can cut aluminum, copper and most rare metal materials that other laser cutting machines can't cut.Low price, low application cost, easy maintenance.The spare parts and maintenance are cheap.
Disadvantages:Only the raw materials under the cutting of 8mm, cutting efficiency relative low.
Product positioning: cut less than 8mm, mainly supply small businesses and sheet metal manufacturing, household appliances manufacturing, kitchen supplies manufacturing, decoration, advertising and other processing requirements are not very high customer applications, slowly replace wire cutting, CNC stamping, water cutting and low power plasma cutting and other traditional production equipment.
